From Times Square to Punjab. Sikhs all over the world stand in solidarity demanding justice and the immediate release of Bhai Amritapal Singh. Thousands of activists have been illegally imprisoned, internet access to over 27 million people was shut down, and Section 144 has been enacted. In 1984 the Sikh community fought to uphold their human rights and Sant Bhindranwale stated, "Neither must Sikhs oppress nor neither should they live under oppression.” Today 39 years later we are still fighting, and we will continue to fight till justice is served.
